The terms NodeKanban is offered on

These terms are an agreement between you and [COMPANY LEGAL NAME], [REGISTERED ADDRESS] (“we”, “us”), covering your use of NodeKanban. Creating an account means you accept them. If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you are confirming that you may bind it.

• Give a real email address and keep it reachable — it is how we reach you and how you recover access.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account. Keep your credentials to yourself.
• One account per person. Do not share logins; add people as members instead.
• You must be at least [MINIMUM AGE] to hold an account.
• Tell us promptly at [SECURITY CONTACT EMAIL] if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else.

Work in NodeKanban belongs to an organisation. Every account gets a personal organisation on sign-up, and may create or join others. Four roles exist — owner, admin, member and viewer — and they decide what each person can do. Access is enforced by the database itself, not merely by the interface.

• An organisation must always keep at least one owner. The last owner cannot be removed or demoted.
• Owners and admins can invite and remove members, and manage invitations. Only owners can delete the organisation.
• Invitation links are secrets. When a mail provider is configured the product emails the link to the address invited; either way it is also shown to the inviter, who can send it themselves. Anyone who obtains a link before it expires can join the organisation at the role it was issued for. Invitations expire after seven days and can be revoked at any time.
• An organisation's owners and admins control that organisation's content. If you join an organisation you do not own, what you create there is subject to their decisions, including deletion.
• Leaving an organisation does not remove the nodes, edges or comments you created in it. Your personal organisation cannot be deleted separately from your account.

Your boards, nodes, edges and comments remain yours. You give us only the permission we need to run the service — to store, copy, transmit and display that content to the people you have given access to, and to make backups. We do not use it to train models and we do not sell it.

You are responsible for what you put on a board, for having the right to put it there, and for making sure it is lawful. NodeKanban has no file uploads: it is a place for project structure and text, not a document store or a backup.

Do not use NodeKanban to:

• break the law, infringe someone else's rights, or store material you have no right to hold;
• send unsolicited invitations, or use invitations to spam people;
• probe, scan or attack the service or its infrastructure, or try to reach data belonging to another organisation;
• work around plan limits, rate limits or role restrictions, whether through the interface, the API or the database;
• resell or white-label the service without our written agreement.

Nothing, today

NodeKanban is free. There are no paid plans, no subscriptions and no trial that expires, and we do not collect or store a payment card. Nothing in the product is held back behind payment: unlimited members, unlimited boards, unlimited nodes per board, sub-node networks three levels deep, realtime multiplayer, and every role. The pricing page says the same thing in fewer words.

Some limits are structural rather than commercial and still apply: nodes nest at most three levels deep, and a dependency link that would close a cycle is refused. These are enforced inside the database as you write, so such a write is rejected rather than silently accepted.

What the product does not include

Comparable tools often have these. We do not, or only partly, and we list them so you do not have to assume:

• SSO or SAML of any kind.
• Activity export. Owners and admins can read a recent activity feed for their organisation — organisation and membership changes, board and team changes, and tasks being finished or unblocked — from that organisation's Admin page. There is no way to download or query it, and entries older than 90 days are gone.

If that changes

We may introduce paid plans later. If we do, we will say so on the pricing page and give existing accounts [NOTICE PERIOD] notice before anything they already use starts costing money. [STATE WHETHER EXISTING ACCOUNTS ARE GRANDFATHERED].

Deleting an organisation

Deleting an organisation permanently deletes every board, node, edge and comment in it. There is no in-product undo. [STATE WHETHER AN INFRASTRUCTURE BACKUP EXISTS THAT COULD RESTORE A DELETED ORGANISATION, AND FOR HOW LONG AFTER DELETION].

We aim to keep NodeKanban available and to give notice before disruptive changes, but the service is provided without a formal uptime commitment. You may stop using NodeKanban at any time, and delete your account yourself from your account page. Except where the breach is serious or unlawful, we will try to warn you first and give you a chance to put it right. NodeKanban is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
